Students are encouraged to participate in organized sports at CTTCS. Playing on an athletic team rounds out the education of the whole child and incorporates members of our extended community. Most of our athletic programs are coordinated through the Diocese of Wilmington Catholic Youth Ministry Office (CYM). Training programs to develop the skills of our younger athletes are managed in-house.
The Office for Catholic Youth Ministry’s Athletic Program is an important component of the comprehensive approach to youth ministry in the Diocese of Wilmington. These programs promote Christian attitudes while encouraging healthy physical activity. Coaches are provided training and are cleared through a criminal background check process. Registration information is provided to CTTCS parents before each season. Students enrolled in our sponsoring parishes' Religious Education programs may also participate. Sign-up announcements are made in the parish bulletins.
