Saints & Scholars Fund

The Saints and Scholars Fund is our annual fundraising initiative that helps bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of delivering an exceptional educational experience. It directly supports key areas such as:

• Enhancing academic programs and classroom resources

• Providing professional development for our dedicated teachers

• Supporting financial aid

• Improving campus facilities and technology

• Enhancing the safety of our campus

How is this different from Home and School activities:

Gifts to the Saints and Scholars Fund have a school-wide impact, supporting long-term growth and strategic initiatives that benefit every student and teacher.

By creating an annual, renewable and unrestricted source of support, the Saints and Scholars Fund will allow our Home and School Association to focus on activities that provide opportunities for our families and students to come together in celebration of our fabulous school community.  Proceeds from these activities will support more short term and specific needs like teacher appreciation efforts.

Both the Saints and Scholars Fund and Home and School Association fundraisers are important and complementary—one focuses on broader, long-term school advancement, while the other enriches student and teacher experiences in more immediate ways.

For those who are able, we are excited to introduce the McAuley Leadership Society—a community of donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more. Members of the McAuley Society play a vital role in sustaining and advancing our mission and are recognized in special ways:

• Recognition in the Annual Report as a McAuley Leadership Society Donor
• Recognition at the Annual Gala with early admission and private cocktail reception
• Recognition on the Christ the Teacher Catholic School website
• Personalized engraved brick at the main entrance or engraved leaf on the “Christ the Teacher, The Children and The Cross” sculpture.

You can recognize a special person in your life with a tribute gift to Christ the Teacher Catholic School.  It is a thoughtful and meaningful way to express appreciation, honor a special occasion, recognize a faculty or staff member, or deliver sympathy to a loved one.  Contributions may be directed towards a program or area of study that has special meaning to your loved one.

Previous Memorial and Honorary contributions have enabled the purchase of the Holy Family statue for the shrine in the mall in front of the school, statues of the the Blessed Mother for classrooms and offices, and Bibles for religion classes and prayer services.  

Corporate Matching Gifts are made by your employer to match your personal gift to Christ the Teacher Catholic School.  A dollar-for-dollar match is common, but some companies will contribute two dollars for each dollar donated.  Your company's Human Resources Department can provide you with the appropriate guidelines to complete your match.  Bank of America has been one of many recent Matching Gift donors that has assisted us at CTTCS.
