Grade 3 Teacherdlanechristtheteacher.orgHello! My name is Denise Lane, and I am excited to begin my seventh year at Christ the Teacher Catholic School and my 27th year in education. I began my teaching career in 1991 as a fourth-grade teacher in Howard County, Maryland, and later taught third grade for ten years at Immaculate Conception School in Elkton. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I come from a long line of teachers—teaching must be in my DNA! Because every child learns differently, I use a hands-on, multisensory approach that incorporates movement, music, creativity, and real-world connections to make learning meaningful and fun. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Paul, our two sons, gardening, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and relaxing by the pool. I feel blessed to be part of the CTTCS community!
