I am excited and so very blessed to be part of the Christ the Teacher Catholic School community! I currently serve as a Cafeteria Monitor Monday through Friday, and this will be my fourth year in this role. My granddaughter, Harper, is entering second grade for the 2026–27 school year and is still young enough to be thrilled to have her Grammie working at school and interacting with her at lunch! I also enjoy working in the After Care Program three afternoons each week.
I became a registered nurse later in life and began my nursing career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Towson, Maryland, where I worked in the critical care cardiac step-down unit. I spent the final twelve years of my nursing career as the school nurse at Havre de Grace Elementary School in Harford County, Maryland. During my time there, I was honored to be named Harford County School Nurse of the Year for the 2012–13 school year.
Outside of school, my life is filled with time spent with my three adult children and their spouses, my nine grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Family is truly one of my greatest blessings!
Fun Fact: In the 1980s, when Jane Fonda was the reigning queen of exercise, I taught aerobics classes! Although my fame never quite reached Jane Fonda’s level, I certainly had fun trying!
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the CTTCS community, where I get to do what I love most—working with children!
