Mrs. Kristen Burke

My name is Kristen Burke, and I am excited to begin my eighth year teaching PreK4 at Christ the Teacher Catholic School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Delaware and went on to earn my Master of Education from Wilmington University.

Before joining the Christ the Teacher family, I lived in Philadelphia, where I taught second and third grade and spent two years as a reading specialist. Throughout my years in education, one of the things I have cherished most is building meaningful relationships with my students. I love getting to know each child, discovering their unique personalities, and creating a classroom where they feel loved, supported, and excited to learn. My favorite part of teaching is, without a doubt, making my students laugh!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our three children. One of our favorite family outings is getting ice cream at a local farm near our home—where I’ll happily choose a double scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone!

I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Christ the Teacher community, not only as a teacher but also as a parent. It truly is a special place, and I am so grateful to be part of the CTT family!
