2nd Grade AideEmail MeHi! My name is Denise O’Mara. My husband and I moved from New York to Delaware in 2009 with our three daughters. We enrolled all three of them at Christ the Teacher Catholic School, where they received a wonderful education and made lasting memories. They have all since graduated and are doing wonderfully!
During my daughters’ time at CTTCS, I began volunteering in the school kitchen and eventually accepted a full-time position. I truly enjoyed the job and the many friendships I made along the way. Seeing the children each day at lunch, getting to know them, and being part of their school experience was especially rewarding.
I took a year away from my full-time position to help support my family in New York. During that time, I worked part-time in the kitchen at St. George’s and also served as a school van driver for St. Anne’s.
I missed being part of the CTTCS community, so I am excited to be back as a teacher’s aide in the second-grade classroom. I am looking forward to this new position, getting to know the students, and reconnecting with old friends. I am so happy to once again be part of the Christ the Teacher Catholic School family!
