I am proud to say that I am a product of Catholic education. I was born and raised in South Philadelphia, attended Saint Edmonds Grade School, Merion Mercy Academy (high school) ,and graduated from LaSalle University and Wilmington University. Wilmington, Delaware has been my home since 2001. I have three grown children, Lisa, Marissa, and Sam who have also had the benefit of a Catholic education. Traveling, following the Philadelphia sports teams, reading, listening to podcasts, spending time down the shore and experiencing nature are things I enjoy doing.
I am blessed to be starting my twenty-first year of teaching at Christ the Teacher. It is gratifying to be part of this close spiritual and educational community. I am a true believer in an education that not only focuses on academics but also on learning about and living one’s faith.
This is my fourth year teaching middle school social studies and my second year teaching eighth grade religion. I have a genuine love for both subject areas and always try to pass that appreciation onto my students. The motto I live by:
“I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13

I grew up in South Philadelphia and am a proud product of Catholic education. My fondest memories are of Saint Edmond’s Grade School (now closed) which along with my parents truly laid the foundation for my strong faith in God. I am proud to say that many of the friendships formed in those early years are still a part of my life today. For high school, I attended Merion Mercy Academy where I received the best possible spiritual and academic education from the Sisters of Mercy, then onto LaSalle where I majored in Business with a concentration in Accounting. After college, I worked in the private and public sector until my first child was born.
